Winter in Vesser
	A winter vacation or an excursion with the family to Vesser is a real experience. In the skiing area one can try the cross country paths or ski the 2 and 3 kilometre long classical or free-style cross country track. There is a skilift and a sledding hill. Both are about 200 metres long and cover a slope with a height of about 50 metres. During good snow conditions the skilift at Crux is open daily and is a favourite amongst beginners and children.
Just out of town is Germany's biggest natural ski jump. It was constructed in 1950 to 1951 and the average jump length is 86 metres (the record was 92 metres by Heiko Hunger in 1987).
