Then visit the tourist mine "Am Aschenberg" (On Ash Mountain) in Bad Liebenstein whose main emphasis is hands-on experience with miners' equipment. The attached museum contains a collection of mineral rocks from Schönau. An attraction of interest not only to the youngest visitor is the still functioning mine railway.
